Compose Catalog : Privacy Policy

Effective date: Jun 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the Compose Catalog application (herein referred to as "the App"), an open-source, free-to-use application designed to showcase Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) Material 3 examples.

1. Information Collection and Use

Compose Catalog does not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal data, sensitive user information, or device data.

  • No Registration: You are not required to create an account or provide any personal details to use the App.

  • No Tracking: We do not use any third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics or Firebase), telemetry, or advertising SDKs.

  • On-Device Operation: All features of the App execute locally on your device.

2. Open Source Transparency

Compose Catalog is fully open-source. We prioritize complete transparency regarding how the App operates. You can independently verify our zero-data-collection practices by inspecting the source code at our repository:

3. OS-Level Data and Third Parties

While the App itself collects absolutely no data, please be aware that your mobile operating system (Android) and the app distribution platform (Google Play Store) may collect standard device metrics, crash logs, and usage statistics.

  • This collection is managed entirely by your device OS settings (e.g., opting in to share diagnostic data with Google).

  • This data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and is neither requested nor controlled by the App.

4. Children's Privacy

Because our App does not collect, store, or transmit any user data, it inherently complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Google Play Families Policy. We do not collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

5. Required Google Play Data Safety Declaration

In accordance with Google Play Store guidelines, we confirm the following for our Data Safety section:

  • Data Collection: We do not collect any user data.

  • Data Sharing: We do not share any user data with third parties.

  • Security: Since no data is collected, no user data is transmitted over the network by the App.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, primarily to reflect changes in Google Play requirements or open-source licensing. We will notify you of any changes by updating the new Privacy Policy on this page and modifying the "Effective Date" above.

7. Contact Information
